We have tested many suppliers. There are very few great and plenty of bad ones. Some brag to supply the major outlets and offer great pricing (Zolls, Tata, SportZ) - but don't have the service nor quality to back it up in the custom market. While others quality is great in the samples but then in the actual orders the product suffers from short cuts being taken. Our design standards ... 
All vector format. The primary vector format software program used is Adobe Illustrator (the industry standard) due to advantages in screening images and working with the artwork. BUT, we are able to use files in many formats anywhere from sketches to faxes to bitmapped images.

Colors ...
The list at the bottom of the page is of the most popular ink colors and the approximated Pantone color. This color list is provided for your convenience and should not be used for exact matching due to differences in printing ink systems and web / monitor reproduction. All colors are available, if you would like to use a color not listed below please contact us for availability.

Sending vector artwork ...
Please export the files down to Adobe Illustrator with fonts turned into outlines. Make sure to specify all the spot colors to be used. Turn all fonts into outlines. Please use stuffit (mac) or zip compression (pc) to protect the files in transit.

Artwork reproduction charges ... No charges for design nor screens or shipping - our price includes ALL cost.If we need to design a logo for you, recharge for 4 to 8 options with 2 aa's will apply for our professional design services. We will work with you to get the best image. This design work is created by a professional artist whose rate is normally 150.00 an hour for digital artistry (as compared to other companies hiring apprentice to attempt the work).

Unlike other custom shops who say they can do anything, we want to give you "nothing but the best" in the product and the design. The file you see on your design page is the EXACT file that will be used on your product. This policy eliminates surprises when you get the product from some overseas artist redrawing it, text or artwork distorting while crossing seams, egg shaped circles, and so on. Most importantly, this all allows us to show you what you will get with no surprises. The term used in design is "WYSIWYG" (What you see is what you get). That is our goal.

Creatively speaking... there is much WE can do being designers and not strictly businessmen for you than just slapping logos on the panels. We study and try using the elements of the logo after the vector file is received or recreated. This effort gives you a better product both in quality and design. Let us show you what professionals do.

Sending vector artwork ...
VECTOR - If you are sending artwork, we prefer if available vector type files. These are files that have been created in programs such as CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand. This will insure the integrity of your logo through the process. Plus in some cases gives our designers more freedom to design you something special. A final advantage is that the files tell our designers valuable information such as the colors originally called out for the job by the original designer. ILLUSTRATOR - If you are an Adobe Illustrator user, please save your files as Adobe Illustrator. Also convert all text to OUTLINES. This can be done simply by selecting the text and choosing the "Create Outlines" selection under the "Type" menu. It is very important that you do this, as we may not have your fonts on any of our computers. Also, have the designer spec the colors used on the logo with color names called out. FREEHAND - As with Illustrator files, just be sure to turn all fonts into outlines. This avoids having to send fonts, match text, and spelling errors. Export the Freehand document so it can be read in Illustrator. Also, have the designer spec the colors used on the logo with color names called out. COREL - If you send us CorelDraw .cdr files, please convert all text files to curves and export as an ai file prior to sending to us. This can be done by doing the following: Once you have completed your layout, select all text items and choose "BREAK APART" from the Arrange menu. Select all the text again and choose "CONVERT TO CURVES." To send us .ai files that have been created as .cdr files in CorelDraw, follow the "Break Apart" and "Convert to Curves" procedure as outlined above and then use the "EXPORT" command to save your file in .ai format. Also, have the designer spec the colors used on the logo with color names called out.

Of course, we can accept artwork files from many programs and formats. These files would have to be redrawn in a vector type software to be used on the product.

Sending bitmapped artwork ...
BITMAPPED - If you are sending us bitmapped images (photographs or digital art files that contain photo-like images) we usually get very good results with tif, psd (Adobe Photoshop), or jpg files. You can also send us bmp and gif files, but the resolution is usually better on the latter. Please send the biggest image you can find at the highest resolution. If you are scanning images to send to us, scan at 150 to 200 dpi, this will produce excellent results. PHOTOSHOP - We also can use files composed in Adobe Photoshop. PDF - We also can use files created in Adobe Acrobat as in pdf files (Portable Document Format).

OTHER - FAX / DRAWINGS -
We also accept simple artwork by fax and can often make it useable through computer recreation/touch-up methods. We can also accommodate those individuals supplying hand drawn artwork, through scanning, photocopying, and traditional paste-up methods. Remember, if you have any questions regarding artwork, please contact us and we'll be happy to help you. WORD ART - We can except logos created in Word, but we need a Screen Shot (Print Screen) of the logo. This will allow us to see what the logo looked like on your monitor, as Word does not have the ability to outlines the text.

About the artist and the owner ...
Let's jump right in and tell you who I am and how I work.

I am Le Sheppard. My family lives in Bucks County Pennsylvania. I own and operate TSGSPORTS, TSGcreations and theSHEPPARDgroup. I have been a digital artist for the past 20 years serving the needs of different size and scope clients - from corporate to advertising to small business. For the past 4 years (written in 2006) I have been designing directly in the custom ball industry. I now design solely for my companies.

SERVICE.
The basic idea of starting these companies was to bring marketing and digital artistry to the custom sports product industry. So much of the industry appeared to have no marketing ideas or the work was just taking a logo and putting it on a sports product with no regards for the marketing aspect, the design look, or the quality of the message getting across. Too many businessmen running a creative business with no design sense. A bad value for the customer.

PRODUCT.
I found a superior product line that would tie right into my "Nothing but the best" motto. I am proud of what my companies offer, product, and design for my customers. So our added value is our experience in top notch design work and placing them on superior products.

Custom orders are handled in this way. You get me the logo or logos to be used or we discuss the design that is needed. I put up a secure site for you to see options on different products and design treatments. We work together to design the ball that's right for you. I like the customer to feel like they had a hand in the design. As far as pricing goes it depends on what level of soccer ball you are after (if not quality - what price range you were looking to pay). Plus in many cases - the design and artwork used determines a lot of the price along with the shipping needs (6 weeks or 11 weeks).

We have everything from game balls, travel / training balls, camp balls, and more. The J2 is a size 2 ball used for juggling exercises.
